ABOUT CURATE COACHING

Life coaching. Trauma informed coaching. Koren Scott.

Survivor. Coach. Your number one cheerleader.

I know firsthand what it is to carry something you never asked for.

I lived in my trauma for decades.
Not because I wasn’t strong enough to face it.
Because I didn’t know how to let go of what I had grown to depend on.

MY STORY

I am a suvivor of child sexual abuse.

While these are vulnerable words to say, it is far harder to live in, without finding a way forward.

The one problem -
I didn’t know how to go at it another way.

I coped the way so many do… substances, recklessness, then the more socially acceptable versions - perfectionism, workaholism, the relentless pursuit of having it all together on the outside that it might finally make me feel good enough.

None of it worked.
I pressed harder. Buried the feelings deeper.
Became so exhausted I thought I couldn’t go on

Life coaching. Trauma informed coaching. Koren Scott.

Here's the part that I didn’t understand.

After years of therapy, of building what I called my recipe - the work, the care team, the hard and necessary self reflection, I thought I was done.

I wasn't flooded anymore. I wasn't in crisis.

And I was still tripping through the same cycle.

I showed up to my life and the real parts of me weren’t there. I was successful by every visible measure and struggling in every way that mattered.

That gap, between how I grew from my trauma and how I was living is what brought me to coaching. And it's the exact gap I built Curate Coaching to close.

50%

Half the global population will face significant mental health challenges by age 75.
Yet most will never access clinical support.*

Therapy matters.
And healing from what happened and learning how to live differently afterward are not always the same thing.

Coaching is not a replacement for therapy. It is what can become possible after therapy has done its work.

Two things can be true.

You have lived with your trauma.
AND you will have a beautiful life.

I needed to believe and feel it, before I could begin to action it.
That's why I'm here.

I am not here to tell you who to become. I am not here to hand you a formula or a pre-built program or a version of healing that looks like mine.

I am here to hold space where you explore opportunities.

To ask the questions that nobody else has asked you.

To hold up the mirror.

To be with you while you do the work that actually changes things.

The conversation around coaching is changing.

Life coaching. Trauma informed coaching. Koren Scott.

85% of coaches now report their clients are seeking support around emotional well-being — not just performance, productivity, or career goals.*

Curate Coaching was built exactly for you in this moment.

You are not receiving a worksheet or pre-recorded webinar that tells you who you need to become.

I am here to hold the space for the hard questions and the big realizations.

To allow you to test the waters, to say out loud what you’ve been feeling, to take the first big, brave, bold step.

AND – you will have your beautiful life.

Why I'm qualified to sit across from you.

Life coaching. Trauma informed coaching. Koren Scott.

This work is not what I do. It is who I am.

Who I have become, so in turn, we can overcome the unspeakable and live lives made for dreams.

Beyond being a survivor, a wayshower, a force to reckon with - I’m a wife, a mom, a recovering workaholic turned entrepreneur, and a woman who is determined to show others, that even the hardest lives can be so, so sweet.

I wasn't sure what to expect when I ventured into trauma-informed coaching.

It didn't take long, but Koren called me out.
Not in a mean way, but from a place of love and care.

At first she caught me off guard and then once I sat into it, I realized I needed to not only hear, but to feel what she was seeing, and that I knew deep down but wasn't willing to say out loud.

What I believe.

The coaching industry is unregulated, and anyone can call themselves a coach.

The word gets used lightly, but the stakes for the women sitting across from that coach are not light at all.

I know you deserve someone who has not only done her own work, but who holds credentials and is accountable to a standard. A coach that knows, not theoretically, but in physical body, what it costs keep cycling, and what it takes to move forward.

I believe that two things can be true:

These experiences happened to you.

And you get to decide what comes next.

Healing the wound and building a new life are two different skills. I don’t do the first for you. But I can and will walk beside you through the second.

Thank you for allowing me to feel that I am good enough.

What happens when we work together.

about-trauma-informed-life-coaching-for-women-curate-coaching-koren-scott-canada

We don't go back.
We start from exactly where you are.

Through 1:1 virtual coaching sessions, we look at what's showing up in your life right now - the patterns, the defaults, the masking that once kept you safe and now keeps you from the life you can feel waiting for you. We build forward, in a space where there is no judgment and there are no one-size-fits all solutions.

Following each session, you receive a summary and the action items that emerged from our time together. This gives you space to stay fully present, reflect and action afterwards.

Most of the growth doesn't happen in the session -

It happens in the space between.

Ready to begin?

I promise, you deserve the life you’ve been quietly dreaming of.
This language lands because I know what you are carrying.
Let’s connect and work through this together.
