Trauma-Informed Life Coaching
Coaching that helps you live differently.
For women who know how the trauma affects you and still you cycle through the patterns that you no longer want to carry forward.
This work is not about fixing you.
It is about helping you build a different relationship with yourself, your nervous system, your choices, and your life.
What’s included.
Every session is held virtually, one-on-one,
and built around you.
1:1 60-minute virtual coaching sessions
Session summary and action items delivered after every session
— so you can stay present in the session with me
One 15-minute emergency session per month
— for the moments that can't wait
A recurring schedule that holds your momentum between sessions
What will a coaching session look like?
I'm going to ask you questions.
A lot of them.
I might ask you to consider or sit with something you've said.
I might even challenge you on it.
I will hold up a mirror and reflect back what I see - the parts you're ready to embrace, and some you didn't know were there.
It won't always be comfortable.
And you will surprise yourself by how much growth you’re capable of.
Through exploration, you’ll create opportunities that you didn’t know were there, didn’t know how to start, or didn’t believe you could. You may find yourself moving toward something you once decided was too big, too scary, or too far away.
And together, we go there.
Each session felt different than the one before and that made each hour together interesting.
We laughed, I cried, and I felt seen.
In what was actually only a few hours of time together, I moved ahead more than I had for years.
Through the experience I began feeling lighter, more calm, confident, and like myself, but not the same self.
Thank you Koren for being patient as I worked through so many thoughts and fears, but mostly, thank you for allowing me to feel that I am good enough.
— Stacy R.
When does the growth come?
Much of your growth isn’t happening during a coaching session. I'll send you a summary and the actions that came up from our time together.
I want you to be fully present during your session and not managing a notepad. I will give you a briefing of the hard work you’ve completed.
When your nervous system has had time to settle from the scared-curious-energized feeling of what you're stepping into.
Growth.
The space between our sessions - the living, the testing, the feeling - is as important as the time we spend together..
Often more.
Research shows that 93% of clients working with a certified coach experienced meaningful improvements in anxiety and stress — in six sessions or fewer.
You don't have to commit to forever.
You have to commit to starting.
This work is changing lives.
For many women, coaching becomes the space where the dream finally and turns into action.
It isn’t that someone hands them a better personality or a perfect routine. But because they begin practicing something different – something that has been waiting and finally feels aligned.
80% of people who work with a coach report increased self-confidence.
Not because someone told them to believe in themselves — because they practiced showing up differently, and it worked.
ICF Global Coaching Client StudyCoaching, done right, moves the needle.
A 2022 study found that 58% of participants experiencing symptoms of depression reported clinical recovery after working with a certified coach as part of their wellbeing journey — alongside substantial improvements in overall well-being.
Psychology Today / peer-reviewed coaching wellbeing research, 2022
“She caught me off guard. Then I realized I needed to not only hear it, but to feel it. ”
How many coaching sessions

There is no magic number for this.

What follows is a general guide. Use it as a starting point, not a prescription.

This is where the real work begins to take shape.
Over two months, we move from surfacing to understanding - identifying the patterns, the beliefs, and the defaults that have been running the show, and beginning to practice something different. You'll have enough time to bring what happens between sessions back into the room, to try things, to course-correct, and to start building what you’ve know is waiting for you.
This is the entry point most women start with. It is also where the most significant early shifts tend to happen.

“I began feeling lighter, more calm, confident, and like myself, but not the same self.”
A note on referrals.
If at any point in our work together I notice something that I believe would be better supported by a mental health professional, a counsellor, or another practitioner, I will say so, clearly and with care.
Coaching is a powerful space for those who are ready for it. Readiness sometimes means recognizing when healing the wound itself needs to come first.
I hold relationships with several wonderful practitioners across different specialties. If a referral feels right, I'll connect you based on what you need and who I believe will serve you best.
What I would want someone else to know is that coaching can feel intimidating at first, but it can truly be life-changing when you find the right partner.
You do not have to go through difficult things alone, and reaching out for support is a sign of strength, not weakness.

Most women who arrive here are not beginning from nowhere.
They’ve often spent years reflecting, reading, healing, attending therapy, or trying to understand themselves more deeply — and still find themselves cycling through the same patterns, reactions, or disconnection.
Coaching may be a good fit if you feel ready to move beyond understanding what happened and begin practicing something different in your actual life.
For many women, coaching becomes the space where goals, desires, and dreams are turned into reality.

No.
Therapy and coaching serve different — though often complementary — purposes.
Therapy is an important clinical space for healing, diagnosis, treatment, and processing trauma. Coaching is future-focused and action-oriented. Together, we look at the patterns, behaviours, beliefs, and nervous system responses that may still be shaping your present life, and begin practicing different ways of showing up.
Curate Coaching is not a replacement for therapy or mental health treatment.
For many women, coaching becomes the space where understanding finally begins turning into lived change.
-
You are not expected to arrive with perfectly organized thoughts or a clear roadmap.
Part of this work is learning how to slow down enough to hear yourself clearly again.
We begin with where you are right now, what feels heavy, what is frustrating you, and what you sense might be possible underneath it all.
You do not need to prepare the “right” answers before showing up.
-
As much as the influencers may tell you, there is no universal formula for this.
Some women begin with a single session to experience coaching before deciding what kind of support feels right for them. Others know immediately that they want a longer-term partnership to work through deeper patterns and life transitions.
The right pace depends on your history, your capacity, your goals, and where you currently are in your life.
The package options are intended as guidance, not pressure.
We can explore what starting point might be right for you.

Curate Coaching was built specifically for trauma survivors who know in their core being that they are more than the things that happened to them.
This work is not about contrived positivity, outward perfection, hustle culture, or becoming someone entirely different.
It is thoughtful, trauma-informed, reflective, and grounded in the understanding that survival patterns develop for a reason.
Together, we create space to look honestly at what is no longer serving you, and begin building a life that feels connected, sustainable, and true to who you actually are.
You do not need to know where this will lead to begin.
The first step is deciding you are no longer willing to live this way.
